My Supers
Zephyr was taking a nap one afternoon and I had to do some stuff on the computer and this is what my girls did. They made their own super costumes without any help from me. They found the fabric for their capes in the scrap box (that they are allowed to use) and cut them the shape they wanted. They were really happy with their costumes.
They were trying to be like superman. That is why they are both wearing blue, with a yellow 'S' and then a red cape.

The Em's
I had the chance to visit my college roommate, Emmaly, and stay at her house for 3 days. When Ben and I were dating, she was dating her husband who was roommates with Ben. We have a lot of fun together. Ben wasn't able to go this time.
Emmaly and I both have 3 kids, both in girl, girl, boy order, ages 6 years, 5 years, 3.5 years, 2.5 years, 9 months, and 6 months. The kids had a blast together and really got along pretty well, except for musical beds at night.
I got the cheapest rental vehicle and by happen stance got a SUV with a convertible 3rd row. Emmaly used her magic and puzzle-pieced 6 carseats in the back 6 seatbelts. So all 8 of us were able to go all over. We got quite a few looks and comments when we went places and I thought it was kind of odd until I saw the picture of all 8 of us, and then I realized that we look pretty wild, but so much fun.
The last time I visited Emmaly, Prairie was a baby and she was pregnant with her second, so there were 3 kids. I noticed that we doubled the number of kids since my last visit, and I hope we don't double between now and my next visit.

Christmas 2009 recap
I was wondering if it was too late to post about Christmas, but then my cousin did yesterday, so I decided I could still slip in a Christmas post (especially since my mom wanted to see pictures of my girls on Christmas).
Here is our beautiful Christmas tree. It is almost better in this lighting because you can't see that we had been having a leaky roof (hazards of having a flat roof, good thing to learn BEFORE we purchase our own home). So we had buckets set up right in front of our tree the week of Christmas.
Autumn opening the box of clothes for her American Girl doll (Autumn worked hard all year, she started saving money in January and had enough in October to buy her very own American girl doll. But she was sad that she didn't really have any clothes for her, well she can't say that now.)
Prairie had been saying for a couple of months that she wanted an Ariel (Disney Little Mermaid) blanket for Christmas. Ben and I found this Ariel doll at DI (local thrift store) and thought she would love it go along with her blanket. As soon as she opened the doll she immediately went and got her Ariel dress up and put it on.

Priarie in her new Cinderella dress up with cinderella shoes and a cinderealla headband, a 3-year-old's version of heaven.
Ben got me a new lens for my camera and I had fun taking pictures of Zephyr
