Blessing

We blessed Zephyr a week and a half ago, but it has been super busy around here, so I am just now getting to post it.  It was such a great day.  I felt such joy seeing so much family coming to support us, and watching Ben bless our son with a name and a blessing.  It was a great way to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary.  I was also really happy with how his blessing outfit turned out.

Zephyr's blessing shoes.  I found these ar DI for $1, but they didn't have laces, and they had embroidered flowers in pastel colors.  Ben put bleach pen on the flowers, hoping they would bleach to white, but they didn't and it just ate through the thread, so Ben ripped out all the thread for the embroidered flowers.  Also they didn't come with laces, so we took a pair of cream baby shoes we had, and bleached the laces, and that turned out perfect.  I was really happy with the shoes when everything was said and done, and it was relatively cheap.
